Lebanon: The General Directorate of Civil Defense urged the public to exercise caution, remain in safe locations, avoid areas prone to flash floods, refrain from swimming in them, and adhere to the instructions issued through various media outlets and social-media platforms, as thunderstorms are forecast to affect parts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from Friday through Sunday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the directorate explained that Makkah Region will experience light to moderate rainfall leading to flash floods, hail, and dust storms. Riyadh Region is also expected to see light to moderate rainfall with similar conditions.
It further noted that Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Madinah, Hail, Qassim, and Eastern regions will be affected by moderate to heavy rainfall, potentially resulting in flash floods, hail, and dust storms.
