Riyadh-- The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Murshed received at the headquarters of his organization here today a Kyrgyz Republic delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Arzybek Kogoshev, in the presence of the Kyrgyz Ambassador to the Kingdom Olukbek Maripov.

During the meeting, issues of common interest and the existing development projects extended by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan through SFD were discussed. The meeting also addressed the challenges facing the progress of development projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.

For his part, Kogoshev expressed sincere gratitude for the Kingdom's permanent support for development projects in Kyrgyzstan, and in particular, praising the efforts of SFD in financing development projects and programs over decades, citing their positive impact on social and economic growth and prosperity in various development sectors.

It is noteworthy that the number of projects funded by the Saudi Fund for Development in the Kyrgyz Republic has reached eight in several sectors, including transportation, education, health, water and sanitation, in addition to the provision of a generous grant from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extended and managed by SFD, with the aim of equipping a number of medical centers.

During the call, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities for developing cooperation in various fields.

They also discussed the latest regional and international developments as well as the efforts exerted in their regard, especially the promotion of international peace and security.

During the call, they discussed the situation in Ukraine and discussed the impact of the crisis on energy markets. In this regard, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince affirmed the Kingdom's keenness on the stability and balance of oil markets and the Kingdom's commitment to the OPEC Plus agreement.

Riyadh-- Secretary General of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) Dr. Mansour Al-Shammari received here today Member of the French Senate and Chairman of the French-GCC Friendship Group Senator Olivier Cadic and the accompanying delegation.

At the outset of the visit, the Etidal Secretary General welcomed the French Senate's delegation, lauding France's international role in supporting stability, stressing the continuation of strengthening cooperation between Etidal and France in combating extremist ideology.

During the visit, the delegation of French Senate was briefed on Etidal’s work strategies, as well as the monitoring and analysis mechanism, techniques, and models being built and developed within the facility.

For his part, Cadic hailed Etidal's mechanism of work.

Riyadh--The First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Arzybek Kozhoshev, and his accompanying delegation arrived in Riyadh yesterday.

They were received by Deputy Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Mansour bin Hilal Al-Mushaiti.

The visit comes within the framework of consolidating relations, enhancing joint cooperation between the two countries, and participating in the Businessmen Forum at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, to be held today.

The First Deputy Prime Minister and his accompanying delegation were briefed on the Kyrgyz exhibition which the Ministry is currently organizing in the Digital City in Riyadh, emanating from its chairmanship of the Saudi side in the Saudi-Kyrgyz Joint Committee.

It is noteworthy that the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Engineer Abdulrahman Al-Fadhli, inaugurated last Thursday the Kyrgyz exhibition in the presence of the Kyrgyz Minister of Culture, Information, Sports and Youth Azamat Zhamankulov.

Riyadh, His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, patronized today evening the third edition of the "Saudi Cup" race, which is the most expensive in the history of world horse races at King Abdulaziz Equestrian Square in Riyadh.

Upon his arrival, HRH Crown Prince was received by Prince Faisal bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, and Prince Abdullah bin Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Ambassador to Austria, member of the Board of Directors of the Horse Races Club.

HRH Crown Prince was accompanied by Prince Muhammed bin Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Governor of Riyadh Region, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports.

After HRH Crown Prince took his place on the main stage, the royal anthem was played.

After that, the horses participating in the race moved from the grooming arena to the parade ground in front of HRH Crown Prince in a two-round show before the start of the race, and all the horse riders participating in the race were present in the parade ground.

Afterwards, the eighth inning of the Saudi Cup began.

After the end of the race, HRH Crown Prince went to the delivery platform, where he was received by Prince Bandar bin Khalid Al-Faisal, Chairman of the Equestrian Authority and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Horse Races Club.

HRH Crown Prince congratulated Prince Saud bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, owner of the Emblem Road, as he lifted the Saudi Cup as the winner of the race.

HRH Crown Prince also congratulated the horse trainer Miteb Al-Mallouh and the horse rider Giberto Ramos, who received a horse model and a horse rider helmet.

Then HRH Crown Prince left the headquarters of King Abdulaziz Equestrian Field.

The Saudi Cup race ceremony was attended by Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Governor of Makkah Region, Prince Abdulrahman Al-Abdullah Al-Faisal, Prince Miteb bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, and a number of princes.

The ceremony was also attended from the Kingdom of Bahrain by Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Committee of Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, ministers , distinguished guests of the Saudi Cup ceremony from inside and outside the Kingdom, and a number of participating horse owners.
