The presidential candidate in the Turkish elections for the ATA Sinan Ogan coalition announced his support for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in the second round of the elections scheduled for next Sunday.
Ogan, who received 5% of the vote in the first round, confirmed in a press conference held today, Monday, that after several meetings with Erdogan and his rival Kilicdaroglu, and after numerous consultations with his party and other parties, he decided to support Erdogan in the second round of the presidential elections.
Sinan Ogan said, "We see that there are major problems that need urgent solutions in four main issues. The first is the issue of refugees and ways to address them. The second is the destruction left by the earthquake. The third is the economic problems caused by various internal and external challenges. The fourth issue is confronting terrorism and what the country is exposed to in this regard."
He added: The opposition Ummah Alliance led by Kilicdaroglu was unable to show sufficient success and was unable to provide a perspective that would convince us of the future, and most importantly, he was unable to achieve the parliamentary majority and failed in these elections, pointing out that he did not provide anything to convince his alliance, stressing that the new president must To be in agreement with Parliament.
Sinan Ogan called on his supporters to vote in the second round of the presidential elections for Erdogan.
