A joint force from the Nineveh Operations Command of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out, on Wednesday, a security operation deep in the Hatra Island, south of Nineveh Governorate. The joint force conducted searches and security checks there, and the operation resulted in the finding of a number of tunnels and explosive devices left behind by the terrorist ISIS, which were detonated by anti-explosives detachments. Barham stressed that the Ministry will spare no effort to enable Palestinian higher education institutions to continue their lofty mission of graduating educated generations with competencies. A source in the Najaf Police Command announced the arrest of the killer of the child whose family lives in Al-Nidaa neighborhood, north of Najaf, after an urgent and rapid campaign by the security services in the governorate. The source stated, "The killer, who is the victim's maternal uncle, was arrested and his statement was recorded in which he admitted to killing the seven-year-old girl in Al-Nidaa neighborhood." He added: 'Investigation was conducted at the scene of the accident and the crime tool (the knife) was removed,' noting that the reason for the crime was the family's preoccupation with the tragedy and evasion of the debt it owed. Manama, Shaikh Salman bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Higher Urban Planning Committee, today received Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, at his office in Gudaibiya Palace. The meeting discussed updates in the development of urban planning. The Vice Chairman of the Higher Urban Planning Committee said that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continued to formulate programmes and initiatives that supported the progress of sustainable urban development. In this regard, he emphasised the importance of cooperation between the public and private sectors to implement projects that contribute to the development of the kingdom. On his part, the Minister of Finance and National Economy highlighted the pivotal role of the Higher Urban Planning Committee in pursuing development goals with in the comprehensive development process led by HM the King.
