SPL Issues Commemorative Stamp for Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve

Riyadh: Saudi Post (SPL) has issued a collection of commemorative SAR3 stamps, along with a SAR5 commemorative card, for the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve. Located about 100 kilometers northeast of Riyadh, the reserve is home to a range of native and rare wildlife, including gazelles, red-necked ostriches, Arabian oryx, and various resident and migratory bird species.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the issuance reflects the reserve's environmental and national significance and highlights the efforts of the reserve's development authority in managing and developing the Imam Abdulaziz bin Mohammed Royal Reserve and King Khalid Royal Reserve. The initiative aims to enhance vegetation cover, protect biodiversity, reintroduce native species, and develop ecotourism destinations, contributing to the objectives of environmental sustainability and Saudi Vision 2030.
