The Border Guards' land patrols in Jazan Region have arrested several Yemeni nationals violating the border security law by attempting to smuggle khat. Legal measures have been taken against them, and they have been referred to the appropriate authority for further action.

The security authorities urge citizens and residents to report any information regarding drug smuggling activities. To do so, they can contact the number (911) in Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions or the number (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. Additionally, they can contact the General Directorate of Narcotics Control (GDNC) at the number (995) or via email at [email protected]. The GDNC emphasizes that all reports will be handled with the utmost confidentiality.
