Riyadh: Assistant Minister of Culture Rakan bin Ibrahim Al-Touq met with Japanese Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Fumio Iwai at the ministry's headquarters in Diriyah. Al-Touq praised Japan's hosting of Expo Osaka 2025 and announced the Kingdom's participation with a pavilion that will highlight its global contributions in culture, economy, and sustainability. He also wished Japan success in the event. The meeting focused on strengthening cultural cooperation and exchange between the two nations, specifically in architecture, design, culinary arts, museums, and heritage.
