Passports Directorate Bids Farewell to Pilgrims, Welcomes Umrah Performers for 1448 AH

Riyadh: The General Directorate of Passports bid farewell yesterday to pilgrims departing after completing Hajj and welcomed today the first Umrah performers arriving through the Kingdom's international ports for the 1448 AH season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the arrival of Umrah performers marks the beginning of a new phase in Saudi Arabia's care for visitors to Makkah and Madinah. Efforts are focused on facilitating procedures from arrival until departure.

The directorate said passport halls at air, land, and sea ports are equipped with qualified personnel, advanced technical systems, and electronic gates designed to streamline procedures and save time and effort for visitors.

These measures help ensure that Umrah performers can complete their rituals with ease and peace of mind. The directorate also urged visitors to comply with the Kingdom's laws and regulations throughout their stay until departure.
