Abha: Deputy Governor of Aseer Region Prince Khalid bin Sattam bin Saud bin Abdulaziz received Algerian Consul General Mohamed Alam during his visit to Abha, as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and enhance cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Algeria.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Prince Khalid welcomed the consul general and highlighted Aseer’s growing prominence as one of the Kingdom’s leading tourist destinations. He noted the region’s ongoing transformation under the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, emphasizing its unique geographical, climatic, and cultural diversity, which makes it an attractive destination for visitors from within the Kingdom and abroad.

For his part, Consul General Alam expressed his appreciation for the warm reception and conveyed his admiration for the development and tourism potential in the region. He reaffirmed Algeria’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Saudi Arabia across various sectors, particularly in promoting tourism and cultural exchange.
