Arab League Denounces Iranian Missile and Drone Strikes on Kuwait and Bahrain

Arab league: Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit strongly condemned the Iranian attacks targeting civilian facilities in the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Bahrain with ballistic missiles and drones.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Aboul Gheit stated that the Iranian attacks on civilian targets and critical infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport, resulted in casualties, injuries, and material damage. He emphasized that these actions represent a dangerous escalation and a blatant violation of international law.

Aboul Gheit called on Iran to immediately and unconditionally halt these attacks and abandon its policy of escalation. He warned that such actions pose a serious threat to regional peace, security, and stability.

The secretary-general also reaffirmed the Arab League's full solidarity with Kuwait and Bahrain, emphasizing the organization's support for all legitimate measures undertaken by the two countries to safeguard their sovereignty and protect their citizens.
