Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani participated, today, Monday, in the opening ceremony of Expo Qatar 2023, in the Qatari capital, Doha, based on an official invitation he received from the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.

It is the first exhibition of its kind specialized in horticulture and confronting climate change and desertification, which represent a problem that the region and the world suffer from. This represents an opportunity for Iraq to benefit from the experiences and ideas that will be presented in this exhibition, in addition to the important opportunities that the exhibition provides for concluding international agreements and partnerships for investment in the field of developing the agricultural sector and addressing the effects of desertification and drought.

During this gathering, Iraq will present the investment opportunities available in the agricultural sector, in line with the trends and priorities set by the government in improving the agricultural and environmental reality, in addition to presenting the successful agricultural experiments implemented in Iraq by the private sector.
