Al-khobar: Al-Qadsiah Karate Team delivered a notable performance at the Minister of Sport Cup after strong showings in the kata and team kumite competitions, which concluded on Saturday at Al-Qadsiah Club Hall in Al-Khobar. According to Saudi Press Agency, in the Olympic category, the team was crowned first in team kata and secured third place in team kumite, earning the overall standings cup for the category. The team also continued its strong performance in the senior category, finishing second in both team kata and team kumite, thereby claiming the second-place overall cup for the category. Al-Qadsiah Karate Team Manager Ahmed Al-Subaie said that the results achieved at the Minister of Sport Cup were the outcome of sustained effort and strong commitment by the players in both kata and team kumite. 'We succeeded in delivering performances befitting Al-Qadsiah's name and ambitions, and we will continue working to develop our performance and prepare for upcoming competitions, with the aim of maintaining this level and achieving greater accomplishments in the future,' he said.
