Speakers of the House of Representatives, Muhammad al-Halbousi, and the PM of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Masrour Barzani, in the presence of Deputy Prime Minister of the Regional Government, Qubad Talabani, discussed the outstanding financial and legal problems between the federal and regional governments.

Al-Halbousi’s office stated in a statement: “The meeting discussed the political situation in the country, and the outstanding financial and legal problems between the federal government and the regional government, noting that the need to resolve them and secure the salaries of employees throughout the country was emphasized.”
