Head of the National Wisdom Movement, Ammar al-Hakim, received Pakistani Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan and his accompanying delegation.
According to a statement by Al-Hakim office, the two sides exchanged views on consolidating the relationship between Baghdad and Islamabad in all fields, where Al-Hakim stressed that the two countries suffered from extremism and terrorism, which requires coordination of positions and visions to combat terrorism in thought and behavior, while referring to the history of the Iraqi-Pakistani relationship, and its success on the military side, armament and military industry.
Regarding the Iraqi reality, Al-Hakim stated that Iraq is witnessing unprecedented security, political and social stability, and that this stability is the result of the sacrifices of the Iraqis, explaining also the nature of the challenges facing Iraq after its victory over terrorism, and the trend towards construction and reconstruction, especially after the approval of the tripartite budget.
He also affirmed his support for the Iraqi government's directives to benefit from Pakistani expertise in the field of military industrialization, agriculture and industry.
