Riyadh: Al-Hada cable cars have emerged as a key summer attraction in Taif Governorate, providing visitors with sweeping views of the Sarawat Mountains, valleys, and lush landscapes. The cable car journey, which covers 4,200 meters in each direction, offers a scenic 17-minute ride that links the summit of Al-Hada with the Al-Kar tourist village.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the cable car system features 52 cabins, each capable of accommodating eight passengers. This allows the system to transport up to 1,000 people per hour in both directions. The attraction is particularly popular with families and holidaymakers, bolstered by its proximity to local recreational and service facilities. This has helped to broaden tourism activities in the region.
