BAGHDAD, The Prime Minister, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi said that security operations are continuing to pursue the remnants of terrorism in the provinces of Kirkuk, Diyala and Salah al-Din.
Abadi pledged that he will not tolerate any official who proves his failure to perform his duty.
Abadi said in his weekly press conference: "Many of the service directorates have been transferred with their financial allocations to the provinces two years ago."
He added: "The decline in allocations of the provinces was due to declining revenues due to the collapse of oil prices."
The Cabinet decided to form a higher committee with the membership of representatives of the Bureau of Financial Supervision and the Integrity Commission to hold accountable those who are in default in all governorates.
The Cabinet discussed in its session today the adoption of quick measures to provide job opportunities for the unemployed.
