A young man committed suicide by shooting himself with a gun owned by his family in his house in the center of Hilla today, Tuesday.

Media Director of Babylon Police, Brigadier General Adel Al-Husseini, said, "A young man committed suicide, following his parents' dispute with his wife, by shooting himself, which led to his death on the spot at his home in the Nader neighborhood in the center of Hilla today, Tuesday."

He added that the police transferred the body to the forensic medicine office and that an investigation was opened into the accident.
