A Parliamentary Committee calls on the Minister of Foreign Affairs to wait to implement any decision that harms the interest of Iraq

Member of the Parliamentary Foreign Relations Committee, Karim Alaiwi, called on the Minister of Foreign Affairs to clarify the details of the agreement with the Kuwaiti side regarding the Iraqi lands in Umm Qasr, and to wait to implement any decision that harms the interest of the homeland.

Al-Muhammadawi demanded, in a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to send all decisions and minutes of the committees previously and currently formed with the Kuwaiti and international side, to review them in a way that serves the interest of the country, stressing that: "We will not accept the concession of one inch of the land of Iraq."

He added: "There are several decisions that need to be reviewed by the House of Representatives and a vote on decisions that preserve Iraq's land and wealth, in addition to important decisions from the government to wait for the implementation of any decision that harms the country, and to hold accountable all those who caused harm to the interests of Iraq and its people."
