Riyadh: A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck the South Sandwich Islands in the Atlantic Ocean today.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the earthquake’s epicenter occurred at a depth of 100.8 kilometers.

No casualties or damage have been reported so far.
