3,300 Volunteers Join Efforts in Serving Worshippers on 29th Night of Ramadan

Madinah: Government agencies in Madinah are ramping up their fieldwork on Sunday to ensure a secure and healthy environment for the hundreds of thousands of worshippers at the Prophet's Mosque. They aim to cultivate an atmosphere of tranquility and peace during the Isha prayer, qunoot, and the completion of the Holy Quran recitation in Tarawih Prayer on the 29th night of Ramadan. Volunteer work plays a crucial role in organizing the crowds of worshippers and ensuring the smooth flow of their arrival to the courtyards of the Prophet's Mosque through various roads and outlets. Over 3,300 male and female volunteers will dedicate their charitable efforts on Sunday to provide services such as guiding visitors in their different languages and offering water and Iftar meals. These volunteers will also assist the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque and other relevant authorities in organizing the flow of worshippers through designated corridors. They will direct worshippers to the roof and courtyards when the prayer spaces inside the mosque are full, following an operational plan supervised by Governor of Madinah Region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, in coordination with various relevant authorities. The volunteers hail from 28 government agencies and charity organizations, participating in providing services to worshippers at both the men's and women's sections of the Prophet's Mosque. They engage in 49 voluntary works in coordination with the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet's Mosque. Source: Saudi Press Agency
