Riyadh: Thunderstorms are expected to impact parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions as per the latest weather forecast. These areas will also experience dust-stirring winds, which are anticipated to affect parts of Al-Jouf and Northern Borders regions as well.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Red Sea region will experience northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, with speeds ranging from 15-40 km/h. In the southern part, the winds will shift to northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-30 km/h. Wave heights in the Red Sea are expected to range from half a meter to one and a half meters, with the sea expected to remain relatively calm.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will blow from northerly to northwesterly in the northern and central areas, shifting to northwesterly to southwesterly in the southern part. Wind speeds are forecasted to be between 12-48 km/h. The waves in the Arabian Gulf might reach from half a meter to two and a half meters, making the sea conditions vary from calm to choppy.
