Ministry of Sports Takes More Precautionary Measures in Sports Halls and Centers to Prevent Spread of Coronavirus

Riyadh, The Ministry of Sports has taken more precautionary measures that are binding on all sports halls and centers with implementing these measures without delay, in a continuation of the preventive measures taken by the Ministry of Sports in cooperation with other government entities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to prevent the spread of the new Coronavirus (COVID-19), and in accordance with the constant coordination with the concerned committee.

The procedures included the following:

1- Extending the periods of temporary suspension of the subscription of the members from citizens and expatriates upon their request until further notice.

2- Providing permanent and continuous disinfection and sterilization materials.

3- Disinfection and sterilization of the floors continuously and instantaneously.

4- Sterilization of the surfaces of the sports equipment and the places designated for training permanently, after being used by each person.

The implementation of these measures will be followed up by the Ministry of Sports and other concerned entities in order to ensure the safety of all and to protect them from this virus.
