17 Projects Open for Feedback through Istitlaa Platform

Riyadh: The National Competitiveness Center (NCC) Public Consultation Platform, Istitlaa, has put forward 17 projects related to economic and development affairs. In cooperation with 15 government bodies, the NCC invited the general public, government entities, and the private sector to express their views and feedback on projects prior to their approval.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry of Finance has launched a public consultation project titled 'Executive Regulation of Financial Control,' which aims to achieve a qualitative transformation in financial oversight of public funds. The initiative seeks to tighten control over procedures and operations with financial impact, strengthen accountability, integrity, transparency, and regulate financial oversight processes. Public feedback on this project will be accepted until February 28, 2026.

The Real Estate General Authority has presented a significant project on the Istitlaa platform titled 'Amending the Executive Regulations of the Real Estate Title Registration Law.' This project is designed to organize and update real estate title registration procedures to ensure the accuracy of ownership data, protect rights, reduce disputes, and enhance transaction efficiency and reliability. The public can provide feedback on this project until March 3, 2026.

Additionally, the Bankruptcy Commission is seeking public input on a project titled 'Amendments to the Bankruptcy Law.' This initiative aims to align bankruptcy provisions with international best practices and fulfill the objectives of the Bankruptcy Law. Public consultation on this project will remain open until March 6, 2026.

The introduction of draft regulations and similar projects through the Istitlaa platform underscores the commitment to enhanced transparency in the legislative environment. Moreover, Istitlaa promotes a culture of public participation by enabling citizens, government agencies, and the private sector to contribute their insights and feedback on proposed regulations related to the business environment.
