150,000 Pilgrims Utilize Ritual Completion Service During Ramadan

Mecca: The Grand Mosque is witnessing a high volume of pilgrims and visitors during the month of Ramadan. However, movement remains smooth, thanks to a well-organized framework and distinguished regulatory procedures that enhance crowd control while providing a spiritual atmosphere.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque stated that since the beginning of Ramadan, 150,000 pilgrims have used the ritual completion service, provided by 112 staff and 12 sterilized vehicles, ensuring comfort and easy movement during peak hours.

Over the course of 21 days of Ramadan, 836,574 people have utilized vehicle services within the mosque’s premises. This includes 643,364 individuals using electric golf carts, 168,228 opting for paid advanced carts, and 24,982 relying on free manual carts.

The authority emphasized that the provision of all services within the Grand Mosque and its courtyards is driven by a commitment to serve pilgrims, care for them, and facilitate their rituals with comfort and tranquility.
