The Ministry of Interior announced, today, Monday, the arrest of 14 defendants in various legal cases in Baghdad.

The Ministry said in a statement: “As part of a series of security operations carried out by the Federal Police Forces and within the framework of their tireless efforts to pursue criminal elements, units of the First Federal Police Division, with the support of the intelligence effort, were able to arrest 14 defendants with legal materials, which varied between (fighting, murder, robbery, Tribalism, smuggling, and construction of agricultural lands), in the areas of (Baladiyat, Karrada, Baladiyat, Nahrawan, Al-Batoul neighborhood, Al-Bataween, Diyala Bridge) in Baghdad.”

It added: “The defendants and the seized items were duly referred to the competent authorities to complete the necessary legal and investigative procedures against them.”
