WHO Designates Saudi Health Council Department as Collaborating Centre for Health Systems Governance

Riyadh: The World Health Organization (WHO) has designated the General Directorate of National Health Policies and Economics at the Saudi Health Council as a WHO Collaborating Centre for health systems governance, strengthening the Kingdom's regional and international contributions to health systems governance and policy development.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this designation reflects the Saudi Health Council's role in regulating health services, improving healthcare quality, and developing health policies. The designation also highlights the Council's efforts in supporting international health cooperation and coordination through policy-building, health systems governance, and implementing joint initiatives according to approved frameworks and standards.
