Weather Forecast Predicts Thunderstorms and High Winds Across Several Regions

Jeddah: Moderate to heavy thunderstorms accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds, leading to flash floods, are expected in parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. Dust-stirring winds may also blow over parts of Eastern, Riyadh, Najran, and Makkah regions. Temperatures will remain hot to extremely hot in Eastern and Riyadh regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will be northwesterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10-42 km/h in the northern and southern parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly at speeds of 10-32 km/h in the central part. Waves may range from half a meter to two meters; the sea will be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 12-50 km/h. Waves may range from half a meter to two meters, and the sea will be calm to choppy.
