Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds and varying levels of rainfall are expected to affect several regions in Saudi Arabia on Sunday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain and hail in parts of Makkah, Al-Baha, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern Region, Northern Borders, and Al-Jouf.

The weather conditions are expected to include light to moderate rain in areas such as Najran, Jazan, Aseer, and Madinah. Additionally, fog formation is anticipated in these regions and in parts of Tabuk, potentially affecting visibility.

Winds over the Red Sea are predicted to vary, with northerly to northwesterly winds reaching 12-35 km/h in the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southwesterly winds peaking at 10-45 km/h in the southern part. The wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to over two meters, suggesting that the sea conditions will be calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, northerly to northwesterly winds are expected to reach speeds of 12-50 km/h. Similar to the Red Sea, wave heights may vary from half a meter to over two meters, indicating calm to choppy sea conditions.
