Weather Forecast Predicts Challenging Conditions Across Various Saudi Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for Wednesday indicating the likelihood of moderate to heavy rainfall in several regions of Saudi Arabia. These weather conditions may lead to flash floods and include occurrences of hail and dust-stirring winds in parts of the Northern Borders, Al-Jouf, Tabuk, Hail, Qassim, Madinah, and Makkah regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, lighter to moderate rainfall is also anticipated in the Eastern, Riyadh, Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran regions. This forecast highlights the need for caution and preparedness among residents and travelers in the affected areas.

The Red Sea is expected to experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds in its northern and central parts, with speeds ranging from 21 to 60 km/h. The wave heights are predicted to vary between one meter and over three meters, causing the sea to transition from calm to choppy conditions.

In the Arabian Gulf, northwesterly to northerly winds are expected to blow at speeds of 17 to 34 km/h. Wave heights in this region may range from half a meter to one and a half meters, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
