Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating that parts of Makkah, Madinah, Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern, and Northern Borders regions may experience moderate to heavy thunderstorms, which could lead to flash floods. These weather conditions are expected to be accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds. Light to moderate rain is anticipated in parts of Hail and Al-Jouf regions, as well as in some southwestern highlands, with a possibility of fog in these areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, wind conditions over the Red Sea will vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds affecting the northern and central parts, and southeasterly to southerly winds impacting the southern part, with speeds ranging from 18-50 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from one meter to over two meters, making the sea choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to southerly, with speeds between 10-60 km/h. Wave heights are predicted to range from half a meter to over two and a half meters, resulting in calm to choppy sea conditions.
