Riyadh: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) commended the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s significant efforts in safeguarding children’s rights and welfare on World Children’s Day, celebrated each November 20.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the organization highlighted the Kingdom’s dedication to implementing laws and regulations to protect children from discrimination and harm while fostering a safe environment supporting their psychological and physical development.
WAMY underscored the pivotal role of Saudi Vision 2030 in enhancing child rights through awareness and educational initiatives. Such efforts prioritize the right to education and focus on nurturing children’s skills and abilities to prepare them for a brighter future.
The organization reaffirmed its commitment to supporting children, particularly orphans, through its extensive orphan sponsorship programs across Africa and Asia. The developmental initiatives aim to improve the lives of vulnerable children and help them build a sustainable an
