WAMY Launches Relief Projects for Sudanese People

Khartoum: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) office in Republic of Sudan has initiated a package of urgent relief projects across several Sudanese states. These projects aim to address various essential humanitarian needs in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative includes the distribution of 3,400 food baskets, the provision of medical equipment and supplies to health centers in Khartoum State, and the installation of nine solar-powered water systems. These water systems are set to provide service to some of the most vulnerable areas in Al-Jazirah State, the Northern State, and the outskirts of Khartoum.

Several Sudanese officials have expressed their appreciation for these humanitarian efforts. They praised Saudi Arabia’s role in supporting relief and humanitarian work, as well as WAMY’s ongoing commitment to ensuring food security, providing clean water, and supporting local medical services for thousands of families in need.
