Riyadh: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) affirmed that humanitarian action is a shared mission that requires concerted international efforts and collective responsibility.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement marking World Humanitarian Day, observed annually on August 19 to highlight the vital role of humanitarian action in serving humanity and alleviating the suffering of people affected by crises and disasters, WAMY emphasized the humanitarian and relief initiatives undertaken by Saudi Arabia. These initiatives reflect the Kingdom's commitment to support efforts aimed at alleviating suffering and advancing sustainable development in communities in need.

WAMY stated that it continues to implement humanitarian programs and projects in several countries, providing vital assistance to communities and individuals in need, including medical convoys, the distribution of food baskets, and the implementation of water and emergency relief projects.
