Bangkok: The World Assembly of Muslim Youth (WAMY) Thailand office awarded 2025 scholarships to outstanding orphans during a ceremony attended by officials from local charitable organizations, who praised WAMY’s ongoing efforts in supporting orphans educationally and psychologically.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the relatives of the orphans expressed deep gratitude for this humanitarian gesture, which motivates them to pursue academic excellence and build a better future.
WAMY’s Thailand office Director Abdul Rashid Wali stated that the program reflects the values of benevolence and solidarity, aiming to empower orphans and ease the burden on their families. He noted that these initiatives are supported by the government and people of Saudi Arabia, continuing their generous contributions to education and humanitarian care worldwide, particularly for the most vulnerable groups.
