Makkah: Wadi Makkah Company for Technology, the investment arm of Umm Al-Qura University, received a delegation from the Riyadh Chinese-Saudi education center yesterday as part of efforts to strengthen international cooperation and explore opportunities for strategic partnership in innovation and entrepreneurship.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to develop joint initiatives that support the innovation ecosystem, exchange expertise in entrepreneurship, and build programs and projects that contribute to empowering talented individuals and entrepreneurs. The discussions also included exploring opportunities for knowledge-based investment and transferring successful experiences between the two parties.
The meeting addressed the importance of enhancing cultural and educational dimensions as a key pillar for expanding the horizons of international partnerships, as well as their role in supporting civilizational dialogue and creating a stimulating environment for research and educational cooperation.
Both sides stressed their commitment to continue coordination and joint efforts to achieve sustainable development objectives, support the knowledge-based economy, and strengthen the role of innovation and entrepreneurship as key drivers of growth in the coming phase.
