Jazan: Located 80 kilometers from Jizan city, Wadi Dhahaya in the Balghazi Mountains of Al-Aydabi Governorate has emerged as a prime rural tourism destination, celebrated for its agricultural terraces, cascading streams, and diverse flora.

According to Saudi Press Agency, carved across rugged terrain, the valley is bordered by lush agricultural terraces, stone-built hamlets, and seasonal mountain streams. During rainfall, cascading runoff, fog-veiled peaks, and terraced hillsides converge to create vibrant scenery that draws eco-tourists and photographers alike. These centuries-old terraces stand as living testaments to indigenous mountain farming techniques, through which local communities carved fertile crop beds out of steep slopes.

The valley is a primary habitat for wild Dhahyan trees, supporting the production of prized Dhahyan honey alongside native sidr, acacia, and juniper trees. By integrating scenic eco-tourism with direct access to local apiaries and mountain farming heritage, the site continues to bolster regional agrotourism.
