Vice Minister of Industry Heads Saudi Delegation to GCC Industrial Cooperation Meeting in Kuwait

Kuwait city: Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Industrial Affairs Eng. Khalil bin Salamah led the Kingdom’s delegation to the 55th meeting of the Industrial Cooperation Committee of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries in Kuwait. The gathering aimed to discuss avenues for enhancing industrial cooperation among member states.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting reviewed the progress of Gulf industrial integration initiatives and evaluated proposed policies designed to support national industries. The discussions were centered on fostering collaboration and development within the industrial sector across GCC nations.

The meeting also addressed the challenges and opportunities facing the private sector in GCC countries. There was a special focus on the significance of the private sector’s role in supporting the collective economic development process within the Gulf region. The participants emphasized the potential for the private sector to contribute significantly to the region’s economic goals.
