Vice Industry Minister for Mining Affairs Engages with Global Leaders at Miami Conference

Miami: Vice Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources for Mining Affairs Eng. Khalid bin Saleh Al-Mudaifer participated in the BMO Global Metals, Mining and Critical Minerals Conference, held in Miami, Florida, from February 23 to 26, 2025. The event is a global platform that assembles leaders from the mining and metals industry and major international financial institutions to discuss key sector developments and explore global investment opportunities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Eng. Al-Mudaifer engaged in a series of bilateral meetings with executives and officials from leading international mining and metals companies. These discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation and attracting high-quality investments to Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the Kingdom’s promising investment opportunities in the mining sector. This aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to develop the sector as a key economic growth driver.

om companies specializing in critical minerals such as precious metals, copper, gold, silver, and lithium. The meetings addressed strengthening global supply chains and exchanging advanced technical expertise, contributing to the sustainable development of the international mining sector.

Eng. Al-Mudaifer stressed the importance of forming partnerships with global companies to leverage modern technologies and expertise for the Kingdom’s mining sector development. He highlighted Saudi Arabia’s major mining projects, which are central to promoting economic diversification and sustainability in line with Saudi Vision 2030 objectives.
