Riyadh: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed Elkhereiji and Republic of Trkiye Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Nuh Yilmaz virtually chaired the first meeting of the Political and Diplomatic Committee, a segment of the Saudi-Turkish Coordination Council. The meeting sought to reinforce diplomatic ties and collaboration between the two nations.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening bilateral relations, especially in political domains, and enhancing both bilateral and multilateral coordination on issues of mutual interest. The aim is to meet the aspirations of the governments and people of Saudi Arabia and Turkey.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Vice Minister Elkhereiji and Deputy Minister Yilmaz signed the minutes, marking a significant step in Saudi-Turkish diplomatic relations.
