Riyadh: Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs Eng. Waleed Elkhereiji today received United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini. Elkhereiji highlighted the Kingdom’s longstanding efforts to support the Palestinian people. The two officials also discussed various aspects of cooperation between Saudi Arabia and UNRWA.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on strengthening the collaboration between Saudi Arabia and UNRWA to enhance the agency’s ability to support Palestinian refugees. Both parties emphasized the importance of continued cooperation to address the ongoing needs of the Palestinian community in the region.
