Hafr al-batin: The University of Hafr Al-Batin yesterday concluded the activities of the "Sustainable Energy and Empowering the Future Conference," held under the patronage of Eastern Region Governor Prince Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. The event was organized by the university's Colleges of Engineering and Science on the university's campus in Hafr Al-Batin Governorate.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the conference featured 19 speakers, experts, and researchers from 17 countries. It received more than 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers, of which over 40 were accepted for publication. The contributions addressed topics related to renewable and sustainable energy, innovation, and technology, helping address environmental and economic challenges and enhance resource sustainability.

Approximately 300 participants benefited from the workshops held alongside the conference, while total attendance exceeded 1,500, including specialists, interested individuals, and researchers in energy and sustainability.
