The undersecretaries of the Ministries of Commerce of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) concluded their 57th meeting today in Salalah, Sultanate of Oman. The Director of the Department of International Organizations, Jihad bin Hamad Al-Hudhail, participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, the undersecretaries discussed the progress of preparations for the ministerial meeting of the ministers of trade and industry, in addition to the work of the committees of the Trade-Cooperation Committee, the latest developments in the negotiations of free-trade agreements with countries and international blocs, and the trade laws of the GCC countries.

This meeting comes in preparation for the 65th ministerial meeting of the Trade Cooperation Committee, which will be held in Salalah, Oman, on Thursday, September 14.
