Makkah: The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's 'Coming to Umrah?' campaign distributed more than 800,000 awareness and guidance brochures to Umrah performers and visitors across multiple locations in Makkah, Madinah, and air and land entry points, since the launch of the campaign at the beginning of Ramadan.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the campaign's pavilion participating in the Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, held at the King Salman International Convention Center, introduces visitors of the accompanying exhibition to the various services provided by the campaign. These include awareness of the stages of performing Umrah, the religious aspects of the rituals, how to reach the Grand Mosque, available transportation methods, and the steps that the Umrah performer must follow upon arriving at the Grand Mosque.
The campaign also provides printed materials in eight languages-Arabic, English, French, Urdu, Bengali, Indonesian, Turkish, and Hindi-introducing etiquette in the Two Holy Mosques, key etiquette of the Umrah journey, the importance of respecting others' privacy by refraining from photography, maintaining calm within the Two Holy Mosques, acting with patience and kindness, avoiding crowding, arguments, and anger, not responding to beggars, and giving charity through official channels and approved platforms in the Kingdom.
