Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz has attended the opening ceremony of the second Umrah and Ziyarah Forum, held by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in partnership with the Pilgrim Experience Program at the King Salman International Convention Center.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the governor emphasized the special attention given by the Saudi leadership to Makkah and Madinah, highlighting the ongoing development and construction efforts that reflect their profound religious, cultural, and historical importance.
Minister of Hajj and Umrah Tawfig Al-Rabiah underscored that serving the two holy mosques and their visitors remains a top priority for the leadership. He noted that over 122 million Umrah performers and visitors from across the globe were able to worship at the two holy mosques with comfort and ease.
The second edition of the forum features broad international participation from over 100 countries. It includes more than 50 workshops and dialogue sessions led by 100 speakers, alongside the signing of multiple agreements between relevant service providers-all aimed at enriching the overall experience of Umrah performers and visitors.
