Umm Al-Qura University Launches Program to Qualify Workers Serving Pilgrims

Mecca: The Institute of Research, Studies, and Consulting Services at Umm Al-Qura University, under the supervision of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, has launched a comprehensive training program to develop the skills of workers serving pilgrims, as part of early preparations for the Hajj season 1447 AH.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program includes a package of specialized training courses covering multiple areas, most notably effective communication skills, crowd management, and crisis handling, in addition to enhancing cultural and service awareness related to the pilgrim experience.

The program is witnessing broad participation from government personnel, the private sector, and the nonprofit sector, reflecting the integration of national efforts to serve pilgrims and affirming the importance the Kingdom places on serving the two holy mosques and their visitors.
