Makkah: Umm Al-Qura University offered enrichment and guidance sessions for pilgrims in 50 languages during the Hajj season as part of its efforts to enhance the pilgrims' experience and facilitate the performance of their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the initiative is part of a comprehensive educational and awareness program designed to accommodate the linguistic and cultural diversity of pilgrims and provide them with guidance and support throughout their Hajj journey. The program included a variety of awareness messages and organizational guidelines related to the Hajj season, covering the services provided to pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites, transportation arrangements, health instructions, and organizational procedures.
The sessions were delivered in several languages, including English, French, Hindi, and Urdu, with the aim of reaching the widest possible segment of pilgrims. This multilingual approach helped effectively communicate awareness messages while promoting cultural and intellectual engagement with pilgrims from around the world.
