Uganda Culture Events Wrap Up as Ethiopia Culture Days Set to Begin

Riyadh: The Ministry of Media successfully concluded the Uganda Culture activities on Wednesday, part of the ‘Global Harmony 2’ initiative. This event was organized in collaboration with the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) and the Quality of Life Program at Al-Suwaidi Park, a prominent zone in the Riyadh Season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Uganda Culture events spanned over two days, featuring Ugandan folk troupes that presented a spectrum of musical performances. These performances highlighted the depth of Ugandan culture through the use of traditional drums, rhythms, and string instruments, accompanied by various folk displays. The program witnessed a substantial turnout, with visitors engaging with the African chants and vibrant performances that seamlessly blended traditional folk heritage with contemporary styles.

The events emphasized the richness of Ugandan folk vocals and melodies, essential components of the nation’s musical heritage. Members of the Ugandan community actively participated, gathering around the stage to enjoy performances that combined traditional instruments with modern rhythms, creating a lively festive atmosphere.

As the Uganda Culture activities concluded, preparations are underway for the Ethiopia Culture Days, set to launch on Thursday and span three days. This event will feature folk troupes, singers, and influencers, offering a variety of experiences that underscore the beauty of Ethiopian culture and lifestyle. The program will include artistic performances, traditional clothing, popular cuisine, and showcase prominent Ethiopian products and handicrafts. It will also highlight the lives of Ethiopian residents in the Kingdom, focusing on their economic and social contributions.
