Washington, The United States of America, in the past 24 hours, recorded 109,796 new infections and 1,752 deaths due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).

According to statistics published by the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of the virus infections reached 43,409,950, while the number of deaths jumped to 696,603.
