Riyadh: Two falcons were sold for a total of SAR163,000 at the 11th session of the Saudi Falcons Club Auction, held at the club’s headquarters in Malham, north of Riyadh.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the auction is organized annually to coincide with the Kingdom’s falconry season, which runs from October 1 to November 30. It serves as a key platform for local falcons, reinforcing the Kingdom’s cultural identity, passing falconry expertise to new generations, and providing an economic boost for the hundreds of participating falcons.
