Riyadh:Türkiye has strongly condemned the Houthi group's attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, affirming its support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement denouncing the Houthis' renewed targeting of the airport. The ministry expressed condolences to the victims' families and wished the injured a swift recovery.
The statement highlighted that the attacks deliberately targeted civilian infrastructure and civilians, constituting a clear violation of international law and humanitarian principles. Türkiye emphasized the urgent need to halt actions threatening regional security and stability, which undermine global efforts to establish peace, reiterating its support for Saudi Arabia's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
